Who are we?

A space for stylists and barbers to explore and engage in creatively together. 1180: Cultivate events are meticulously curated to foster a sense of community among the curious artist seeking to connect.

1180: Cultivate will be broken down into three series:

* Heritage Series: This series serves as an art class and history lesson on hair, providing a comprehensive understanding of the craft. Watch and learn in a relaxed space with a vibe that ignites connection.

*Align Series: Focuses on the importance of wellness within the hair industry, offering insights into how we can incorporate self-care practices into our routines. 1180 friends will be invited to teach us ways to stay healthy and work it our industry authentically.

* Canvas Series: This series showcases the work of artists and explores the potential of hair as a medium as an expression as a painter or sculptor.

Each event will feature a diverse lineup of artists and facilitators, friends of 1180, who are experts in their respective fields.  Additionally, there will be vendors offering everything from sustainable clothing, scissors sharpening services, music, food, and beverages.

The events are carefully curated to create an atmosphere that encourages self-expression and authenticity within the hair industry. Participants are encouraged to leave their ego at the door and embrace a sense of community and curiosity. 1180: Cultivate is open to all individuals within the hair industry who are passionate about learning, growth, and connecting with others.
